This policy describes how the LogLens plugin ("LogLens") handles data. It is specific to LogLens; other Veryation products have their own policies.
LogLens reads and processes your log files, and any telemetry you point at its local receivers, entirely on your own machine. We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to the contents of your logs, traces, or captured requests. That data never leaves your computer.
For paid features, the marketplace you purchase through (for example, the JetBrains Marketplace) processes your purchase and provides us with the limited information needed to issue and validate your license, such as a license identifier and order details. We use this solely to deliver and support your license. Payment card details are handled by the marketplace and its payment processor; we do not receive or store them.
If you contact us — by email or via our public issue tracker — we process the information you provide in order to respond and provide support.
Some optional paid features may connect to a Veryation backend (for example, a hosted collector or a public capture endpoint). When, and only when, you use such a feature, the data you choose to send is processed to provide it; each such feature's documentation describes what is sent and how long it is retained. LogLens's core, free functionality does not use these.
We do not sell your personal data, and LogLens contains no advertising.
We use the information above to provide, maintain, secure, and support LogLens, to validate licenses, to communicate with you about the product, and to comply with legal obligations.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate LogLens (such as the marketplace you purchased through and hosting/infrastructure providers), acting on our instructions, and where required by law.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, email support@veryation.com; we will action requests within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA). To exercise these rights, contact support@veryation.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
We are based in the United States. Where we process personal data of users in other regions, we do so consistent with applicable data-transfer requirements.
LogLens is intended for professional developers and is not directed to children under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time; we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
