This Agreement is between Veryation ("Veryation", "we") and you, the user ("you"), governing your use of the Git Flow GUI plugin (the "Software"). It applies to Git Flow GUI only; other Veryation products have their own agreements.
Git Flow GUI is provided free of charge. Veryation grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software in your development environment, for personal or commercial purposes, on any number of machines. No payment, subscription, or license key is required.
You may not (a) redistribute, resell, sublicense, or lease the Software; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, or attempt to derive its source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law; or (c) remove or alter any proprietary notices.
The Software is licensed, not sold. Veryation retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.
The Software operates on your Git repositories locally, through your IDE's own Git integration. It creates, merges, tags, and deletes branches in the repositories you point it at. You are responsible for your repositories and for having appropriate backups. The Software shows you every step of a destructive operation before performing it, but you remain responsible for confirming it.
The Software sends no data to Veryation. See the Privacy Policy.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. This does not exclude or limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded or limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and because the Software is provided free of charge, Veryation's total liability arising out of or related to this Agreement will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Support for the Software is provided on a best-effort basis and is not a contractual commitment. Veryation may modify or discontinue the Software at any time. Because the license in section 1 is perpetual, a version you have already installed remains yours to use.
This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and uninstall the Software.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
